The gelada monkeys live at the top of the world…but that world is closing in. In the Ethiopian Highlands, 3,500 meters above sea level, geladas rule a kingdom in the clouds. Known as lion-monkeys, they are striking primates with thick blond fur and impossibly long canines. Once hunted, they are now protected in Simien National Park. But as farmers move into their mountain home, the balance is shifting. Land loss is changing the geladas' behavior, forcing two worlds together. How can humans and wildlife coexist? A film for everyone who wants to discover one of the world’s most extraordinary mountain ecosystems.
